GRACE is the basic package. It’s perfect for clients who want to celebrate in a meaningful yet understated way that uses handmade items that are easy to whip up.
GLIMMER is an upgraded package. This is perfect for clients who want a beautiful Gideonized setup feel without breaking the bank. Using the same handcrafted items as GRACE, it uses more colors and decorations.
GLEE is the ultimate “happiness” package. This service bears the La Belle Fête x Guidonized hallmark of premier curation and execution, allowing you to enjoy the beauty and safety of your home. Since the theme and decorations are custom made, the total cost depends on the clients requirements.
GLORY caters to clients who want customized packages. This service is perfect for clients who prefer to mix and match items and suppliers. As La Belle Fete’s expertise includes planning, we will know our clients’ preferences and offer them suppliers that will suit their needs.

G Fete aims to make a difference in these difficult times. We believe that our skills should serve the common good. Accordingly, we also offer the Gift of Goodwill as an addition to any package we offer (may it be GRACE, GLIMMER, GLEE, and GLORY). You may choose to share your food or entertainment with a charity (such as a children’s home) so you can touch lives as you celebrate family and life’s grateful moments.

Prepare well and have a better celebration. Being in the city so much, we often get asked if we know of any fun things to do in Philadelphia. The city hosts many interesting events throughout the year. Among them, the Free Library of Philadelphia recently hosted a fare and fair featuring a guest chef. Last week they featured celebrity chef Jean-Marie Lacroix of Brûlée Catering.
The Library creates a unique experience in their open kitchen and a very limited number of guests watch as their decadent five-course meal is prepared and served in front of them. This dinner party is a special event where guests interact with the chef and watch him closely as he prepares each dish.
Chef Jean-Marie Lacroix, one of Philadelphia’s newest chefs, was featured in the creation of this amazing feast. It was an honor to photograph an event where Chef Lacroix was presenting his creations. Chef Lacroix was the Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Fountain restaurant for over twenty years. After leaving, he established his namesake, AAA Four Diamond Award-winning restaurant, Lacroix, at The Rittenhouse Hotel and later joined GuestCounts Hospitality in 2010. He is a renowned James Beard Award winner and launched Brûlée Catering by Chef Jean-Marie Lacroix in 2010. .

The dinner was a huge success! It was an incredible experience to watch him interact with the guests and prepare food with so many unique and creative aspects. Since we were photographing all the dishes, we were also allowed a taste test…
. Chef Lacroix kicked off the night with an Amuse Bouche dish followed by a light “La Belle Rouge” bisque made with Hubbard squash, mussels and saffron! It was delightful. We were surprised at the smoothness of the soup as there was no cream or butter in it. Diver sea scallops topped with curry butter made our mouths water and we practically licked the plate clean of the tender, organic farm chicken dish. The chicken was juicy and tender with an incredible “Vin Jaune” cream sauce and spetzel dumplings.
Each course was paired with a wine by Vicki Miller of Vinocity LLC which we heard was very well done (we didn’t get to taste test this part of the meal!).
Finally, guests enjoyed poached pears for dessert with vanilla crème anglaise and almond tuile pate four to end the evening. Everything looked appealing and tasted better.
The Free Library’s Fare And Fete Featuring Brulee Catering’s Chef Jean Marie Lacroix
The guests had a really enjoyable time and everyone left talking about how much they loved the food and the experience. We would recommend this night out to anyone with a refined palette… or just if you enjoy a fun evening with incredible food.
Either way, The Free Library’s Fare and Fete is the perfect place to spend a beautiful evening in the great city of Philadelphia.
